We check hinges, operators, balances, rollers and lock alignment according to the window type. These parts can often be repaired or replaced when the sash and frame are sound. Broken or fogged glass is assessed separately and may need only a new glass unit. A badly warped or rotten frame may need more extensive work. Send a wide photo and describe how the window behaves; do not force it.

We inspect the existing frame, sill, trim and surrounding opening before recommending an insert or full-frame installation. An insert keeps suitable existing framing; full-frame work lets us address deterioration around the opening. We explain the proposed sealing and finishing work and confirm measurements before ordering.

The height, safe access, panel size, number of openings and installation type all affect the work. Large or upper-floor panes may need additional handling equipment. Send wide photos taken safely from ground level, the number of floors and details of access around the building.

We check what the frame can accept, the exposure and whether your priority is comfort, noise or appearance. Glass thickness, coatings, spacers and overall unit thickness need to fit the opening. We explain suitable options and their quoted price and lead time before you decide.

We assess the wood and glass separately. Sound wooden sashes can often be retained while damaged glass is replaced. Local deterioration may be repairable, while extensive rot or distortion can make replacement more appropriate. Photos of the sill, sash corners and glazing details help us plan an inspection.

Clearing the visible moisture does not restore the original sealed unit. For fogging between panes, we assess replacement of the IGU while keeping a serviceable frame. Drafts or water around the frame need a separate check of seals and alignment.

Tell us which side of the building is affected and when the problem appears: during rain, in windy weather or throughout the day. Note whether moisture is on the room-side surface, between panes or around the sill. This helps us separate a glazing problem from perimeter leakage or worn seals.

Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency board-up service. Our target arrival is up to 30 minutes in Toronto and up to 60 minutes across the GTA. Actual arrival can vary with traffic, weather, access and technician availability.

Yes. We do immediate board-ups, re-hang doors, replace locks and schedule new glass or hardware if required.

We board-up the same day and order the correct tempered/laminated pane immediately. We schedule installation as soon as fabrication is complete.

Usually we can fix it by adjusting the closer, hinges and strike, and replacing worn weatherstrips. If the leaf or frame is bent beyond repair, we’ll quote a replacement.

Yes, where the opening and available material allow. Tempered and laminated safety glass is fabricated to the measured size; if it is not ready the same day, we can secure the opening with an emergency board-up.

Often the sealed glass unit (IGU) can be replaced while keeping a sound frame. We inspect the frame, sash and hardware separately. Rot, distortion or recurring water damage may require frame repairs or a full replacement; fogging between panes alone does not mean you need a whole new window.
