The sequence follows temporary securing, removal of the damaged unit, opening preparation, new glass installation, sealing, blind reinstallation and restoration of the storefront display.
The storefront glass was cracked and temporarily held with tape. The damaged panel needed replacement to restore the storefront opening. It can make the business look unfinished and create safety concerns for staff, clients and people passing by.
We removed the damaged glass unit from the storefront frame and cleared the opening. The glazing pocket, frame edges and work area were cleaned so the new commercial glass unit could sit properly in the existing storefront system.
The replacement glass unit was carefully moved into position. At this stage, alignment, spacing and handling matter because the panel must fit the frame cleanly without stressing the glass or damaging the surrounding aluminum storefront.
The new storefront glass was fully installed, secured and sealed. This restored the opening, protected the interior and brought the commercial frontage back to a clean, safe and professional appearance.
After the glass replacement was complete, the blinds were returned to their original position. This helps the business keep privacy, light control and normal daily function after the storefront glass repair.
The final step was putting the business advertising banner back on the storefront glass. The goal was not only to replace the broken glass, but to return the storefront to a finished commercial display that looked ready for customers again.
