Questions about Skylights
My skylight is leaking - is it the glass or the flashing?
Most skylight leaks come from flashing, curb transitions or failed perimeter seals rather than the glass itself. We inspect the full assembly, identify the real entry point and fix the cause instead of just patching the symptom.
Can you replace foggy skylight glass without replacing the whole skylight?
In many cases yes. If the frame and curb are sound, we replace the failed sealed unit and renew the seals. Full replacement is recommended only when the frame or flashing system has failed.
How much does skylight repair cost in Toronto?
Resealing and minor flashing work cost much less than skylight replacement. Pricing depends on roof access, skylight size and what the inspection finds. We quote clearly before starting.
Do you fix condensation dripping from skylights in winter?
Yes. We determine whether the moisture is a roof leak, a failed sealed unit or interior condensation, and recommend the right fix - from seal replacement to glazing upgrades that reduce cold-surface condensation.
