New Neo-Angle Frameless Shower Enclosure in Richmond Hill
DoorWin installed custom frameless glass for a newly built neo-angle shower in Richmond Hill. The project included fixed panels, a glass door, hardware alignment and silicone sealing around the required joints.
The glass was measured to finished tile and installed as the final enclosure for a new angled shower layout.
Project Details
The Problem
- The new shower footprint used angled walls and a neo-angle entry.
- Standard stock glass would not follow the completed tile lines or provide the intended door swing and panel spacing.
How We Fixed It
- DoorWin measured the finished enclosure, installed the custom fixed glass and door, aligned the frameless hardware and applied clear silicone at the required glass-to-tile and perimeter joints.
New Enclosure, Not a Repair
This project was a complete glass installation for a newly built shower enclosure, including the final silicone work—not a replacement of an old shower door.
Measure After Tile Is Finished
Neo-angle glass should be measured to the completed tile and curb because small angle and plumb differences directly affect panel fit, door alignment and silicone joints.
Final Result
The new Richmond Hill shower received a bright, clean neo-angle frameless enclosure with aligned hardware and sealed fixed edges.

Learn MoreFrequently Asked Questions
Was this glass installed for a new shower?
Yes. The tiled neo-angle shower was new, and DoorWin supplied and installed the complete frameless glass enclosure.
Was the shower glass siliconed after installation?
Yes. Clear silicone was applied at the required fixed-panel and perimeter joints after the glass and hardware were aligned.
When should a new shower be measured for glass?
Final measurement is normally completed after tile, curb and surrounding finishes are in place so the glass can be made to the actual opening.
