The Problem
- The basement opening sat in exposed masonry and needed a durable separation point for regular service access.
- A light-duty door would not suit the physical conditions or the identified fire-rated application.
How We Fixed It
- We prepared the opening, installed the fire-rated steel frame and slab, aligned the hinge and latch sides and checked the completed door for dependable closing and access.
Final Result
The Burlington basement corridor received a cleaner, stronger fire-rated steel opening for daily building use.
